Hot off our appearance on the latest series of Dragons’ Den, POP+BARK is bringing its biggest outdoor event to the dog-friendly Down Hall Hotel.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION

Located just 45 minutes from central London near Hatfield Heath and set within 110-acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, expect a dedicated Pupuccino Bar, a delicious human and doggy BBQ served up by the hotel’s Executive Chef Robert Pearce, plenty of themed cocktails and soft drinks, and an outdoor shopping market with hand-picked stalls for guests to browse. 

DELICIOUS BBQ + COCKTAILS

Take a seat on the expansive sun-soaked terrace or find your patch on the manicured lawn and feast on BBQ delights such as spiced lamb koftas; lime aubergine steaks; outdoor reared pulled pork; and spicy bean salad. Cocktails will be available from their horsebox!

And for our four-legged friends, we've got a mini dog-sized BBQ with sausage bites and pup burgers on the menu! Because let's be honest, what pup doesn't like a sneaky bite of the BBQ.

BBQ food can be pre-ordered with your ticket to receive a 10% discount (or simply ordered on the day).

Did you know that Down Hall was the home of the Great British Bake Off? It's true! 

Fans of the show will recognise the location for the famous baking tent in Season 12. There'll be a terrace menu also available that includes their very own sweet treats and show-stoppers.

It's set to be our biggest Cavapoo gathering yet! 

Cavapoos will love this event, with plenty of lovely outdoor space to run, socialise and just be their lovable, bouncy, goofy selves.

Whether they're playing with their fellow friends, tucking into some tasty treats or lounging on a doggy sun bed, they're sure to have a tail-waggingly great time in this perfect setting.

POP+BARK is famous for their breed-specific gatherings. Just picture yourself at a party where everyone shares the same personality and social quirks, it's a recipe for the most joyful day and  the perfect way to socialise your Cavapoo.

We recognise that there are many adorable poodle mixes out there, so we're extending our invitation to very similar small 'poos and doodles such as Cavachons to join their curly cousins.

Just a heads up from the team - this event is organised a little differently than our usual indoor, off-lead gatherings. The grounds are partially enclosed with hedges and such, and the car park is located further away. While you're welcome to let your furry friends off their lead, please keep in mind that it's ultimately up to you. Just think of it like a day out at the most loveliest of parks and enjoy!

PUPUCCINO BAR + BARKERY

Get ready for some tail-wagging goodness!

POP+BARK are the top dogs when it comes to Pupuccinos, serving up over 30,000 of these creamy delights.

The bar is fully stocked with dog-friendly chocolate drops, fresh blueberries, peanut butter sprinkles, gravy bones and more.

Plus, Rudi's The Doggy Bakery will also be bringing their all-natural, pupcakes, doughnut and cookies for dogs hungry for something sweet.

DOG WALKS & HOTEL STAYS

Don't want the fun at Cavapoo Cafe™ to end? Stay and play!

After your session, you and your Cavapoo are welcome to explore the hotel's stunning woodlands and gardens on a dog walk. With maps provided for the 110-acre site, you can make it a short stroll or an epic adventure!

Down Hall offers more dog-friendly dining options and indulgent afternoon teas your pup is welcome too. If you want to come for lunch before your time-slot or stay on for a dinner at their dog-friendly dining rooms, you can contact Down Hall to book a table.

For those wishing to make a weekend of it, you can stay overnight and book a luxurious dog-friendly room directly with the hotel (enjoy discounted room rate of £180 when booking - just mention your Cavapoo Cafe tickets).

Watch as they pitch their innovative dog events and share their passion for bringing together a community of dog lovers.

Bertie, their lovable inspiration, stole the show and even won over the likes of Steven Bartlett.

DOGGY DOS AND DON'TS

Dive into our 'Doggy Dos and Don'ts' before you come along to our event. We want to ensure a safe and happy environment so please read carefully!

• Do bring friendly, well socialised & vaccinated dogs to this event
• Do feel free to let your dog off lead but you must be confident with their re-call
• Do keep an eye as they remain your responsibility at all times
• Do bring Cavapoos and similar mixes such as Cavachons.
• Don’t leave any dog mess behind – bag and bin it immediately 
• Don’t bring aggressive dogs to the event please - you will be asked to leave
• Don't bring dogs in season for the safety & wellbeing of all guests in attendance
• Don't bring dogs of other breeds, please look out for other events that can cater for them

SAFETY

POP+BARK have 6 years experience in hosting safe events and:

• Make each venue as safe as possible for dogs to attend
• Carry out a Risk Assessment prior to every event
• Safety check, sanitise and clean all the event props 
• Ensure all staff are fully-trained and adept dog handlers
• Have one dog first-aid team member on site 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All dogs attending the event must be friendly, well-socialised, and up to date with their vaccinations (although this will not be checked). Any dogs exhibiting aggression towards other dogs or humans will be requested to leave.
2. The event is organised by POP+BARK, held at Down Hall, and is called the Cavapoo Cafe™. All parties assume no responsibility for the actions of your dog, and you must ensure their safety. If your dog harms another dog or person, it will be your sole liability.
3. Please verify that your pet insurance covers public liability if your dog causes harm to another dog or person. If you bring more than one dog, please ensure that you have enough individuals to care for them responsibly, with a suggested dog-to-human ratio of 2:1.
4. If you or your dog are harmed by another dog at the event, you must resolve the matter with the owner of the offending dog. POP+BARK and Down Hall disclaim any responsibility for the actions of the dogs attending the event. If a fellow guest harms your dog, they will be held personally accountable, and all disputes must be resolved as if in a public space. The POP+BARK team cannot mediate.
5. This outdoor event is structured differently from our standard indoor, off-lead events. The grounds are partially enclosed/sectioned by hedges and the various sections of the outdoor area and lawns, and the car park is situated at a distance. While you are permitted to release your pets from their lead, it is your sole discretion to do so. 
6. We would like to remind all attendees that the event space is a private area and should be treated with the utmost respect. Please prioritise  cleaning up after your dogs and disposing of any waste properly in bins provided onsite.
7. You must purchase tickets for all members of your party. Tickets are classified as "General Admission."
8. All children must be accounted for, and children aged 16 or under are charged a reduced rate, while children aged 6 or under are free. However, you must still order a ticket for them.
9. All dogs must be accounted for, and you must order a ticket for your dog (they are free). Please do not attend without a ticket for your dog.
10. Due to the nature of the event, there is a no-refund policy in place, and you must ensure that you are available to attend before purchasing tickets. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. All requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are at the discretion of the organisers.
11. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a refund for the ticket price, minus the booking fee paid to TicketTailor, or a voucher refund to attend another event. The booking fee is £1.00 per paid ticket, and there is no booking fee for free tickets (Cavapoo tickets or Children aged 6 or under).
12. Dogs receive a Pupuccino or a Pupcorn, but all other food and drinks for humans and dogs are payable.
13. Please only bring Cavapoos and similar poodle and doodle mixes.  Unfortunately due to allocated numbers and the nature of this event, we cannot accommodate doggy siblings of other breeds.
14. POP+BARK may record the event, and the footage may be used for various purposes, including but not limited to, website and event promotion, social media content, advertisements, and press materials. If you wish to request the removal of your image, please email help@popandbark.com. However, please note that we may be unable to remove footage once it has been published or entered the public domain.
15. We hereby reserve the right to alter, postpone, or terminate the event without prior notice, and we endeavour to provide guests with sufficient notification in the event of any adjustments.
16. In the event of severe weather conditions that we deem may jeopardise the safety of attendees, we will endeavour to reschedule the event. Otherwise, this outdoor occasion will take place come rain or shine, and any ticket purchases are at the buyer's risk. Please note that in the event of inclement weather, refunds will not be issued
