The Generalissimo is Dead

The Generalissimo is Dead is a Megagame set in the chaos that follows the death of a strong, autocratic leader without any clear plan for succession. Heavily inspired by the hilarious film The Death of Stalin! 

The game is set in the late 1990s, early 2000s. The modern era is firmly underway, the internet is here to stay and there has only been one superpower for quite some time.

Yugenya has gone from being a forgotten backwater to the frontline of an economic cold war between China and the West due to the discovery of large rare earth metal mines. In the latter years of the Generalissimo’s life, he used the wealth from these mines to expand the revolutionary guard, build a navy and establish an air force.

Critics would also say he channeled much of the wealth into paranoia-fueled schemes against imagined foes. Regardless, Yugenya has never been so important.

The loss of the guiding hand at this time is a crisis for all Party Members!

Team sizes are between 2 and 6. There are 2x 6 player, 1x 5 player, 1x 4 player, 2x 3 player, and 5x 2 player teams. There are 37 players in total. If you buy a ticket bundle, we will do our best to group players with their friends. First bundles purchased will be prioritized for casting onto teams together. If you buy tickets later, we may need to split your group up but we will do our best to ensure people can play with their friends.

We're hosted again by Rae Loft in NE Portland (2222 NE Oregon St Suite 207, Portland, OR 97232). There is plentiful free street parking in the blocks surrounding the venue. This part of town is highly accessible to mass transit. Doors are locked up until 9:30 am and unfortunately we can't let folks in early. There will be signs in the lobby upon entering and it should be fairly obvious where to go. 

We will again have a post game after-party at Migration Brewing on Glisan starting around 5:30 pm (2828 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR 97232). We have the larger "Annex" space there this time, with more room to spread out.
