Touched by Darkness

Theme

The Eclipse has risen. Darkness has swallowed the Empire and is coming for your outpost next! You and your teammates must gather resources, light the arcane beacons, and attempt to survive. But beware! The Shadows that attack your outpost are not the only threat. Darkness may have invaded the mind of a teammate, and you can no longer trust them.

Can you hold this last bastion of humanity together and banish the Eclipse? 

Description

This fantasy themed game is based on Den of Wolves and is similar although with a different theme and some fun new mechanics and roles. 

Teams

There are 13 different teams, from 2 to 5 members each, and a few solo roles.

To give an idea of the theme of this game, here are the names of the Locations that you may be part of.

• Cleavesburg
• Quarrycrest
• Mistfalls
• Temple of Light
• The Glades
• Tilted Tower
• Shadeston
• Doompit Prison
• Smogsmoth

Roles

Each player in Touched by Darkness has a specific role; we will send out a casting survey about two weeks before the game and assign roles. Some players in this game may be hidden traitors.

There are a large number of roles in this game, but a few examples are Commander, Councilor, Provisioner, Warden, Guildmaster, Jester, Historian, Prisoner, and The Cult.

Day Of - Saturday, Oct 10 at Vault 31 in Vancouver

We will be teaching the game at the beginning of the day and you won't need to bring anything other than your sense of curiosity.

Costumes are encouraged but are by no means necessary.

Vault 31 will be closing for the duration of our event and will remain open and available for our post-game hangout! Please buy lunch/dinner/drinks from our lovely hosts as they are providing us with the space for free! This is the reason we are able to charge much less for this game than many of our previous games. Vault 31 has been a great resource for the gaming community for a long time and we appreciate their generosity. Please make it worth it for them to close down on a Saturday and get a meal and a few drinks with the money you save on the game ticket. Thank you!!!
