Positive Nights Presents: Justin Caffrey - Successful Living Through the Vagus Nerve

Sat 29 Nov 2025 11:00 - 16:30 United Arts Club, D02 RR50

We are delighted to welcome back our friend Justin Caffrey for a workshop on Saturday, November 29th from 11AM to 4:30PM in United Arts Club, Dublin 2.

Justin Caffrey is a renowned high-performance coach, entrepreneur, and thought leader in nervous system regulation, helping individuals recover from anxiety and nervous system deregulation.

Proposed Flow For The Day

11:00 – 11:20 | Opening & Energy Reset

Session Title: Why Success Starts in the Body
• Welcome and framing of the day.
• Short breathing and grounding exercise to bring everyone into presence.
• Introduction to the vagus nerve as the bridge between stress and success.
• Core message: “The story of your success is written in your nervous system.”

11:20 – 12:10 | The Science of a High-Performing Nervous System

Session Title: Regulate Before You Accelerate
• The vagus nerve explained — simple, visual, relatable.
• How the body reacts under stress, burnout, and pressure.
• HRV, recovery, and decision-making under stress.
• Audience engagement: quick nervous system check-in (breath rate, body tension, posture awareness).
• Group dialogue: “When was the last time your body said no, but your mind said yes?”

12:10 – 12:40 | Movement & Energy Reset

Session Title: Shift the State
• Guided physical session — walking, shaking, or simple bouncing.
• Paired with music and rhythm for nervous system activation.
• Ends with short nasal-breathing recovery to bring calm back online.
• Message: Movement is medicine; regulation creates readiness.

12:40 – 1:40 | Lunch Break

Encourage connection, quiet reflection, or journaling prompt:

“What story have I been telling myself that no longer serves me?”

1:40 – 2:30 | The Story Trap

Session Title: Rewriting the Narrative
• Storytelling: your personal journey (Joshua, grief, recovery, discovery of the vagus nerve).
• Teaching moment: how trauma, identity, and repetition create physiological loops.
• Interactive exercise: participants share in pairs the story they tell most often — and explore what emotion or need sits beneath it.
• Discussion: “Does your story protect you, or does it keep you stuck?”

2:30 – 3:10 | Somatic Reset Session

Session Title: From Story to Sensation
• Physical and emotional exercise — guided breath, slow movement, or hand-pressing practice.
• Teaching moment: how the vagus nerve brings the body into safety and reprograms the mind.
• Group reflection: what shifted in your body when you stopped thinking?

3:10 – 3:50 | Embodied Leadership and High Performance

Session Title: Calm is the New Competitive Edge
• Discussion of real-world leadership, high performance, and stress.
• How vagal tone supports creativity, empathy, and decision-making.
• Short visualization: the High-Performance Reset (from Daily Edge material).
• Audience share: “What will change in my leadership if I regulate before I react?”

3:50 – 4:20 | Integration & Closing Reflection

Session Title: The Story You’ll Tell Now
• Guided integration meditation: connecting body, breath, and purpose.
• Group journaling: “What new story am I ready to live from today?”
• Final message: The only way out is in.

4:20 – 4:30 | Q&A and Farewell

Short open floor for reflection, questions, and closing connection.

“Right now, we’re all feeling the massive shift in consciousness that’s taking place. One of the most powerful ways to stay balanced through it is by working with your nervous system, your personal software. Justin Caffrey teaches a simple yet profoundly effective practice called vagus nerve breathing. I start my day with it every morning, and it brings me home to myself! with calm, safety, and ease. Highly recommended. You’ll walk away from this event feeling calmer, clearer, and deeply reset.”
