  • 5pm - 1 hour Activity - A 3.5k jogging litter pick along River Exe coast path, tracked on Climate Games app.

  • 6pm - Meet & Greet/eat - at the Exeter Brewery, a chance to say hello, sit down and have a bite to eat if you wish.

  • 6:30pm - Keynote talk with Isaac Kenyon - Isaac will speak about running the London Marathon in a tree costume world record and raising funds for Climate Explorers CIC climate impact fund.

  • 7pm - People Planet Pint commences - A chance to spend some time informally chatting about sustainability, the first 33 drinks are paid for.

What will the talk be about?

Isaac is doing the London Marathon the day before this event, so he will be sharing some thoughts about this and his other Eco Adventures. He will discuss our behaviours, actions & habits with an aim to encourage us become better sustainability leaders. There may also be a panel discussion with other sustainable champions - watch this space.

How strenuous will this run be?

It will be on your terms. We have an hour to make it along the river and back, there will be no pressure to go at anything other than a pace you are comfortable with.

What is People, Planet, Pint?

Setup by Small99, these events are just a sustainability chat over some drinks.

Can I just do some of the event?

Yes of course, but for our planning can you please let us know by contacting us.

How many will be in attendance?

The venue capacity is 50, if it's important to you then book your space. There is a tendency (when something is free in particular) to book with the intention of coming, please respect you may be taking someone else's opportunity and let us know at the earliest opportunity if you can't make it.

What is included in this event?

You will get a free pie for attending the litter pick & talk - There are Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free options available. This will need to be pre-ordered, we will be in touch closer to the time.

You will get a free drink with the People, Planet Pint.

What will I need to bring?

Useful equipment for the litter pick might include: Gloves, a bag to collect rubbish in, a grabber, a change of clothes.

If you have extra equipment then please bring it along. We will try and supply additional gloves, grabbers etc.. when we can.

If you are going to run, a change of clothes and deodorant might be a good idea. The venue doesn't have showers or changing rooms, however you could pay to access these facilities at a nearby swimming pool if you wish.

What impact will this event have?

We will weigh the collected rubbish before we dispose of it, and we are encouraging everyone in attendance to download the Climate Games app

This will allow us to measure both our workout contribution and our waste reduction.

Can I sponsor the event?

Yes, the event is free and funded by sponsors looking to align with the positive impact of the event, if that's you, then please contact us.
