WHAT TO EXPECT

🗣️An unmissable Panel Discussion

Hosted by award-winning biophilic designer, Oliver Heath, the panel explores how the lens connects us with nature, with a focus on the built environment, sustainability, ecology and the arts.
Panellists include: Nicoleta Carpineanu: Film Director & CEO, Forests Without FrontiersPooran Desai (OBE): Environmentalist & CEO, Oneplanet.com; Finn Hopson: Landscape photographer; Vanessa Rowlands: Chair, South Downs National Park Authority.

🎙️Inspiring Artist Talks & Film Screenings

'Commons' is an expansive and thought–provoking new film by acclaimed local artist David Blandy, co-commissioned by Film and Video Umbrella and The Amelia Scott, blending archives, local history, nature, and storytelling. It is an elegy to nature and the spirit of resistance; inviting audiences on a journey through ancient woodlands and shared spaces.

'Enchanting Forest' and 'Wings Over Mountains' are short films from Forest Without Frontiers, a not-for-profit organisation restoring nature across Sussex and beyond. 'Enchanting Forest' tells the stories of the Sussex landscape, blending traditional English folklore with contemporary music and natural soundscapes. 'Wings Over Mountains' celebrates biodiversity, music and community in the Eastern Rhodope mountains of Bulgaria. Producer/Director: Nicoleta Carpineanu, Cinematographer: Murray Ballard, Editor: Vasil Dzhagalov.

'The Agency for Nature' is an experiment in the future of creativity. In the context of climate change and the collapse of nature, what if our creativity was used in service to life on earth? The Agency for Nature (a Purpose Disruptors project) brings together young creatives from top UK agencies to channel their talents not towards selling fast fashion, trainers, or the latest tech, but towards inspiring universal love for the most important client on Earth: Nature. Producer: Angus Light / Locate Productions

🧺A picnic lunch - because great ideas need fuel!

✨Whether you’re a photographer or filmmaker, creative, or simply curious, this is your invitation to be inspired, slow down, look more intentionally, and reconnect with yourself, others and the rest of nature - we look forward to seeing you there!
