Nature Lab - Earth & Eye Festival

Earth & Eye Nature Lab is an imaginative photography workshop for local residents in Hove, led by photographer & educator Nina Emett from FotoDocument/POST and environmentalist Pooran Desai (OBE) from OnePlanet.

Following full immersion in a stills & moving image 'visual nature experience' in the POST studio, you will step out into the Hove neighbourhood with a camera (or phone) to photograph urban 'nature' scenes.

This is an opportunity to observe the local environment around you with fresh eyes and see how the natural world inhabits urban spaces.

Have you ever really looked at that beautiful tree that you walk past every day or noticed the resilient weeds that grow through the cracks in the pavement?

Following a delicious lunch and social time, we will review your photographs together to appreciate new ways of seeing the local environment to initiate a discussion about the 're-wilding' of urban spaces.

We will capture your emerging ideas on the OnePlanet digital platform in a live collaborative session.

Come and join us for a beautiful creative experience connecting to nature through photography and let your imagination run 'wild'.

This workshop is free for Hove residents but tickets must be booked in advance as numbers are limited.
