Join this small friendly, focused Monday evening pottery group to develop your own pottery projects with the support, guidance and encouragement to confidently explore and experiment with tools and techniques. This workshop is primarily focusing on hand-building techniques, however access to potters wheels will also be available on request.

Passionate Potter and Teacher, Susie will help you build the skills and strategies to bring your own ideas to finished ceramic pieces.

Course workshop dates: 21/09/26, 28/09/26, 05/10/26, 12/10/26, 19/10/26

6:00pm-8:00pm each Monday evening.

Limited group size. Book to confirm your place.

Please be aware this course includes:

1). Use of materials and all tools & equipment during the course is included. A nominal additional charge of £5 for each piece you choose to glaze in the last session of the course and fire in the kiln (depending on the dimensions - pieces above 15cm are an additional £5 for every 5cm) - this purely contributes to kiln expenses. Please note, all courses include up to 1kg of clay per week per student - small additional charges are applicable for clay used in excess of this, at the teachers discretion.

2). The use of Potter's wheels, which in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions are not suitable for people with pacemakers.

3). A request that you please email to check in and inform Susie regarding any additional needs you may wish to make us aware of prior to or when booking.

4). Please note that a ticketing fee is included in the price of this course which is non-refundable in any circumstances. In the event of cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the course begins no fees are refundable. In the event of Susie needing to cancel a session, an alternative date or refund for that session will be offered to you.

5). You are advised to dress for mess and bring an apron, a notebook and pen, a small, sealed plastic box in which to store your pots between sessions if you'd like to. Otherwise, there is a central storage box available to everyone.

6). You are advised to tie back long hair, keep finger nails neatly trimmed, wear an apron and bring a microfibre cloth/an old towel.

7). Please be prepared for some fun, and also to lend a hand with cleaning, tidying and packing away the equipment at the end of each session.

8). Your work will be made ready for you to collect 4-6 weeks after the end of the course.
