PQA Next Steps in Film

Does your child love their weekly Film & TV classes but is not sure how that interest could extend beyond PQA?

We’re excited to introduce Next Steps in Film, a one-day event in London’s Soho on Sunday, 3rd May 2026, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It’s designed for PQA students aged 14 to 18* and will showcase real pathways into the Film & TV industry while giving students valuable career insights.

*Although the event is aimed at students aged 14 and above, Red Group PQA students who are 13 are also welcome to join. Please note that the content is tailored for 14+ students, and all attendees must come with a parent, guardian, or carer.

What to expect on the day?

PQA students will gain practical insight into careers both on and off-screen.

Talks by screen industry guest speakers from National Screen Agencies, Film Schools, Further education providers. Short film screenings along with cast and crew Q&As, mentorship opportunities, followed by a drinks and food networking reception where students can meet the speakers and fellow students.

Delegates will receive a festival bag containing goodies from our partners and a brochure of useful contacts and information to get them started!
