PQA Wells – Greatest Circus Show In A Week

Step right up… something spectacular is coming to Wells this summer!

Join PQA Wells for an exciting full-scale youth musical production created in just one week! From Monday 10th August to Friday 14th August 2026, young performers aged 6–18 will rehearse, create and perform an incredible Greatest Showman inspired circus-themed musical complete with professional staging, costumes, lighting and full production value.

The week will run daily from 10:00am – 4:30pm, culminating in a live public performance at 6:30pm on Friday 14th August 2026 at Wells Little Theatre.

This exciting opportunity is open to everyone — you do not need to be an existing PQA student to take part.

Auditions 

Auditions will take place on:

Sunday 7th June 2026
2pm – 4pm
at Wells Little Theatre

Anyone wishing to audition must please complete the audition registration whether you are booking now or now: Greatest Circus Show In A Week - Audition Registration/Interest – Fill in form

If you can't attend the audition on this date and would still like to join the cast, we will welcome video auditions also.

The audition day is completely free to attend.

You can either:

• Book and pay for your place now to secure your place in the ensemble cast immediately, plus attend the audition day to have the opportunity to audition for a lead role or...
• Attend the audition day first and decide afterwards whether you would like to join the summer production week.

Please note:
Booking now guarantees you a place in the cast ensemble, but all performers wishing to be considered for lead roles will still need to audition on the 7th June.

Roles Available

We have lots of exciting roles to fill, including:

• The Ringmaster
• The Ringmaster’s wife and children
• The Aerialist
• The Producer
• The Circus Singer
• Circus performers
• Dancers
• And many more!

There really is something for everyone, whether you love acting, singing, dancing or performing.

Age Groups

To ensure all performers work at the right level for their age and ability, participants will be split into groups:

• Juniors: Ages 6–9
• Seniors: Ages 10–18

Cost

The full week costs just £195, which includes:

• Over 30 hours of expert tuition
• Full rehearsals throughout the week
• Costumes and staging
• A fully-produced live performance experience

Audience ticket sales for the performance will be released at a later date.
