Badass Women of Olšany Cemeteries

Join us to remember nine badass women who are resting in power in Prague's largest cemetery: Olšany Cemeteries 🪦

Among them, emblematic figures of the emancipation of Czech women, such as Karolina Světlá and Eliška Krásnohorská, but also the “Czech Coco Chanel”, and the entrepreneur-brewer Anna Náprstková. You will discover the poignant struggle of a mother, Libuše Palachová, after the tragic death of her son, Jan Palach, as well as stories of other women who are too often forgotten.

The Olšany cemetery offers a pleasant stroll amid its autumn colors, where nature takes back its rights.
