Farm to Fork Chef Showdown at Highland Park Farmers Market

Be a part of the ultimate celebration of local food at the Farm to Fork Chef Showdown where phenomenal chefs will transform the best ingredients from the Highland Park Farmers Market into mouthwatering dishes, live!

The competition begins at 8:00 AM at the HPFM on 14th and Hastings Ave. behind the Hastings Museum, when participating chefs race through the market, selecting fresh, seasonal produce, meats, honey, baked goods, and other locally produced ingredients from market vendors. Then, the cooking begins.

Watch as chefs chop, sauté, season, and plate their creations in front of an audience. Hear the stories behind the ingredients and the local farmers who grew them. From passionate home cooks to seasoned professionals, each competitor will showcase their creativity, skill, and love of local food.

As a ticket holder, you'll enjoy:

• Tastings of each chef's signature dish (tastings must be ready by 11:00 AM)

• Live chef commentary and cooking demonstrations

A panel of judges will also evaluate each dish based on creativity, presentation, flavor, and use of locally sourced ingredients before crowning the Farm to Fork Chef Showdown Champion.

Tickets are $15 and include food tastings and voting privileges. 

Tastes are limited, so reserve your ticket today! Additional votes are $1 and can be purchased in-person at the Highland Park Farmers Market. This is a fundraiser to support Prairie Loft Center to Outdoor and Agricultural Learning, who manages the market.
