The PRA NC Chapter 5K Ruck is a solemn yet impactful event that aims to honor and remember the 15 brave PSYOP Soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. This event is not only a tribute to their courage but also an opportunity for the PSYOP community to come together and show support for the families of our fallen. Events like these are the last three feet in ensuring we never forget our fallen or their families.  The first 200 to sign up will receive an event t-shirt.  This will be a free event for all those wishing to participate.  

During the event, the route will be lined with a Hero’s Marker, each telling the story and displaying the picture of every PSYOP Soldier who lost their life in action since 9/11. It is our way of ensuring that the memories of these heroes live on, and their sacrifice is never forgotten. Our hope is to have over 1000 members of the Regiment come and show their support.  

This year we will also be providing the start point for the Honor and Remember - Run for the Fallen North Carolina event which will take place from Fort Liberty and end at Camp Lejeune. A team of runners from the PSYOP Regiment and Marines from Camp Lejeune will run over 127 miles to honor every North Carolina Fallen Service Member who died as a result of serving from any circumstance during the War on Terror.

Honor and Remembers’ mission is “To perpetually recognize the sacrifice of America’s military fallen service members and their families.” Honor and Remember was started by the father of one of our fallen PSYOP Soldiers, CPL Tony Lutz, to ensure their sacrifice was not in vain and the nation would never forget.
