The Post Office Scandal
After 30 years, victims of the Post Office scandal are still seeking justice. No perpetrator has been charged for false prosecutions of innocent postmasters
There are at least three Post Office scandals - 1) The Horizon IT system scandal; 2) The Capture IT system (predecessor of Horizon) scandal; and 3) Prosecutions of postmasters by the Department of Work and Pensions.
The meeting will hear from the postmasters and their families, and what needs to be done.
The meeting will start with contributions Janet Skinner (a disabled survivor of the Horizon scandal), Sarah Freebury (speaking on behalf of her parents affected by the DWP), Katie Burrows (Chair of Lost Chance, on the family impact of the scandal) and Stuart Higgins (a prominent campaigner for justice). After that the meeting will be open for comments and questions.
Justice delayed in justice denied.
