Come to our night of Pretend - a magical evening of improv comedy and theatre.

Improvisation is the art of making things up as you go along - so everything you see at Pretend Night will be made up on the spot. Games, scenes and stories - all conjured out of thin air from your suggestions.

The Speech

The show starts with a speech - and that speech sets the stage for a growing comedy of errors as we explore the impact of the speaker on those around them. A new improv form created and performed by local improvisers and presented here for the first time.

The Play's The Thing

Enjoy an adventurous, improvised Shakespearean tale told by three impish seekers. With daring battles of wit, tear jerking soliloquy’s and very silly serious scenes, Chris, Ali & John will make you laugh, gasp and cry with their innovative mix of form and fun in The Play’s The Thing - the ultimate homage to the Bard.
