Storytelling with Sound Effects workshop

This is a two day workshop, Monday & Tuesday and repeating on Wednesday & Thursday. If you are unable to attend both days you are still welcome to attend and book a ticket for one day only. 

From thunderstorms to mysterious footsteps, how will you use sound to bring a performance to life?

In this hands-on outdoor workshop, you’ll work in small groups, supported by theatre professionals, to create and perform scenes based on familiar stories.

Using the outdoor environment as inspiration, you’ll experiment with how sound can shape a scene. In your groups, you’ll take on roles as performers or live sound creators, before ending the day by sharing your mini performances with each other.

Creative Skills: Build teamwork, acting confidence and experience in live sound techniques

Earn a Qualification: Achieve a nationally recognised Trinity College Discover Arts Award by attending one or both days (both days recommended but not required)

Skill Level: Suitable for beginners as well as those with some drama experience
