One of Pro Coro’s longtime traditions, Missae brings musical settings of the Latin Mass into the concert space.

Over the seasons, the choir has performed a wide range of music, for choir a cappella, for male choir, and for choir and organ as part of this series.

Our 10th edition features the Mass for 16 voices by Carl Friedrich Christian Fasch, composed in 1783 for the "Berliner Sing-Akademie" in the style of Italian composer Orazio Benevoli, whose Missa "In angustia pestilentiae" (Mass in times of pestilence) will also feature on the program.
