Immersive Team Building Event

Professional Liverpool, in partnership with Laurels Wood, is pleased to offer members an exclusive, immersive team-building experience designed to bring learning, collaboration, and connection to life in a unique outdoor setting.

This half-day event will welcome up to 50 Professional Liverpool members, split across two cohorts to maximise engagement and interaction. The first cohort will attend from 9:00am to 1:00pm, while the second cohort will run from 12:00 noon to 4:00pm. Both groups will overlap on site for a shared networking lunch, providing a valuable opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships across the wider Professional Liverpool network.

Set within the natural woodland environment of Laurels Wood in Formby, the experience will showcase a range of structured outdoor team-building activities designed to develop communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Participants will take part in engaging bushcraft sessions, axe throwing, and a selection of collaborative outdoor challenges that encourage teamwork, confidence, focus, and resilience.

Each activity will be carefully facilitated to ensure the day is both enjoyable and meaningful, helping participants reflect on how the lessons learned in the woods can translate into the workplace. The programme is designed not only to energise and inspire, but also to demonstrate how experiential learning can support stronger teams and more effective leadership.

The networking lunch, provided by Oak & Sage, will bring both cohorts together in a relaxed and informal setting. Known for their open-fire catering and high-quality event dining, Oak & Sage will add a memorable culinary element to the day while creating the perfect environment for conversation and connection. This shared lunch will be an important part of the experience, helping to foster new relationships and strengthen existing ones.

Tickets are limited, and we kindly request that no more than three people from each Professional Liverpool member organisation book onto any one session. This helps ensure a fair spread of places and supports a balanced, engaging experience for all attendees.
