Project Hindsight Labs presents: Prof. Glen O'Hara - economic and industrial policy: history for an incoming government

Project Hindsight Labs is our new initiative. Reflecting on our recent public event, we realised that many people interested in our work might want to bring their ideas to us and have them addressed in real time, producing actionable next steps.

Join us to speak with Professor Glen O'Hara, professor of modern and contemporary history at Oxford Brookes University. Someone will win the UK general election on 4 July. Whoever does will likely face a flat economy, struggling public services, a restive electorate, and troubled geopolitics. The event will address: what economic and industrial policy lessons have previous incoming governments drawn from history and what should inform their decision-making from July 2024 onwards?
