Over the past months, we have been working to collect additional data through seagrass ecology surveys, recreational surveys and a feasibility study with a local contractor. We would now like to invite you to join us to map out the next steps for this project.
Following this mapping workshop, we will develop a draft proposal for further feedback, before moving forwards with the marine licencing progress and project delivery.
Workshop Format:
The workshop is open to all interested in the project and will include:
4pm - Arrival
4:15pm - A short presentation from Project Seagrass outlining the background to the project, results of the initial community survey and feasibility study
4:30pm - Mapping workshop
5:15pm - Synthesising results from mapping workshop
5:30pm - Casual discussion over food and drinks, and a chance to provide anonymous feedback and input
6pm - Workshop ends.
We will have a stall with information set up throughout the workshop, so if you can't make the whole two hours please do drop in and see us to find out more and contribute through the stall activities.
We will share the draft proposal developed online after the event as well as a recording of the presentation at the start of the workshop, so please let us know if you can't attend but would like to receive this by emailing feedback@projectseagrass.org.
We really appreciate your time and effort in contributing to this work, thus we will ensure all project outcomes are shared and it is clear how your input has shaped decision-making.
