This visit is open to any farmer or land worker who is interested, though a priority will be given to any farmers from Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire council areas.

David Carruth will show us around the award winning Brodoclea Woodland Farm, near Dalry, just over the border in North Ayrshire. 

"Our Brodoclea Woodland Farm covers 174ha and is home to our woolly pigs, our ecological restoration engineers. Brodoclea is a rich tapestry weaving together the heritage of those who have farmed the land for centuries and the needs of the wildlife that calls this hillside its home."

This will be an opportunity to meet other farmers and speak about some of the challenges and successes to more sustainable farming practice.

We will gather from 12:00 to start with a shared lunch. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know at least 2 days in advance of the event - you will be asked in the event booking form.

Accessibility

The farm walk will be around a working farm so please bear this in mind with regards to uneven ground and other access needs. Please let us know if you have any specific access needs in the event booking form and we will try to support with these.

There is space for parking at the farm but please remember this is a working farm
