Glenkens Food Month Future Planning: open discussion

All organisations, businesses and interested individuals are welcome to join this open discussion on the future of Glenkens Food Month

Glenkens Food Month started in 2019, initially led by New Galloway Community Enterprises and latterly by GCAT. Taking place through September, it has become a much loved and valued feature of our annual calendar. Many organisations and businesses participate each year, some linking existing events to the calendar and others creating new and exciting experiences for the local community and visitors. The programme has evolved, and provides and opportunity for local businesses to showcase their work as much as celebrating by bringing people together through food.

At this open discussion we will talk about:

• What's gone well over the last 7 years of Glenkens Food Month?
• What could be improved or changed?
• Shared aims and values - what are we trying to achieve, and who for? 

We invite any groups and organisations, businesses, enterprises and interested individuals - those who have participated in past Food Month's or otherwise - to come and share your views, experiences and ideas. Please share with others you think might be interested.
