Farmers, producers and landworkers are invited to join this farm walk at Rottal Estate - Kirriemuir, with Nikki and James Yoxall of Rottal Land and Livestock.
Rottal Land and Livestock operate an organic, 100% pasture fed upland sucker herd, under a Joint Venture partnership. On this farm walk we will be looking at Adaptive Multi-Paddock (AMP) grazing management and how the farming enterprise integrates with the estate's sporting and nature restoration aims whilst delivering a profitable business model for all parties.
A fantastic opportunity to see a successful system in action, ask questions and connect with other farmers in the area.
This farm walk is part of the Upscaling Agroecology series from the Scottish Agroecology Partnership, funded by the Scottish Government's Knowledge Transfer Innovation Fund.
Free event but limited spaces and booking essential. Lunch provided - please add your dietary preferences on registering. Please note that this is an upland farm and as such the terrain may be challenging at times.
