Training format:

The programme consists of FOUR x two-hour online sessions, all running from 5:00pm–7:00pm (UK time). Participants must attend all sessions.

Dates: Mon 19th, Weds 21st, Mon 26th, Weds 28th October 2026

Sessions will be delivered live online via Zoom. Participants will need access to a computer or tablet capable of joining video calls and viewing shared screens.

Some sessions may finish earlier depending on progress, but please keep the full session times available.

About Carbon Literacy Training:

Carbon Literacy is an accredited learning programme designed to help you understand the causes and impacts of climate change, alongside practical actions that individuals, communities and organisations can take.

The training is accredited through the Carbon Literacy Project and is designed to build understanding, confidence and motivation - helping you move from curiousity to action in ways that feel achievable and meaningful.

Who can book a free spot:

• Aged 18–29
• Based in the UK
• Interested in learning more about climate issues and taking action

The first training spaces are specifically prioritised for:

• Black, Asian and ethnically diverse young people
• Young people from lower-income backgrounds
• Young people underrepresented in environmental spaces
• Young people with limited access to nature or outdoor opportunities
• Young people outside traditional climate networks

We ask that you book a spot on this course if you meet one or more of the criteria listed above.
