The Annual Freemasons' Service of Remembrance will take place at the National Memorial Arboretum, and this year is being hosted by The Province of Derbyshire.
Tea and coffee will be available to purchase in the main cafe from 11am.
After the service there will be a short parade, which will be lined by Provincial Banner Bearers, to the Masonic Garden. A two minute silence will be observed at 1pm, which will be followed by the wreath-laying and a short Act of Remembrance. The people outside may wish to line the route and stand round the garden to observe. The events in the Garden itself will be streamed live into the Aspects building.
Dinner will be served for those who have booked and pre-paid commencing after the 2-minute silence.
Masonic chains and collars should be worn
Parking at the Arboretum is pay and display, and costs £8 if purchased on the day. We recommend pre-payment as this reduces the cost to £5, and this can be done directly on the Arboretum website: thenma.org.uk/visit-us/plan-your-visit/book-tickets
