When you were raised to the degree of a Master Mason, you should have been told that this is not the end of your Third Degree ceremony, but – being exalted into the Royal Arch, otherwise known as The Chapter, is the completion of the Third Degree ceremony.

As Provincial Grand Master, I also hold the title of Grand Superintendent of the Royal Arch. I am therefore writing to you today to invite you to an event, so that you can fully appreciate how beneficial and how enjoyable this step will be.

I, along with the members of the Chapter Executive, would like you to join me at The Masonic Chambers Ferryhill, Co Durham, DL17 8HX, on 11 November 2023.

Please arrive by 9:30am as these sessions will commence at 9.45am and will finish by 11.45am latest.

This will be an informal meeting and casual dress is acceptable.

The format of the morning will be a short presentation, followed tea coffee and a bacon sandwich. You will also meet recently exalted members of the Royal Arch who will explain their journey and why it is important for you to take this step. Finally there will be ample opportunity for you to ask questions.

This is a brilliant way to broaden your Masonic knowledge and meet new friends.

By all means feel free to discuss this invitation with any other member of your Lodge and your Lodge Royal Arch representative, who is named on your Lodge Summons.

I as Provincial Grand Master and Grand Superintendent, along with the members of the Provincial Executive look forward to welcoming you to one of these events and helping you to understand more about the essential nature of the Royal Arch to your masonic journey.
