A landmark occasion in the history of the Province of East Lancashire. All Mark Master Masons are warmly invited to witness the Investiture of our new Provincial Grand Master and be part of a truly memorable day for the Friendly Degree in the Friendly Province.

On Thursday, 29th October 2026, the Brethren of the Province of East Lancashire will gather to witness the Investiture of W.Bro. Mark William Davis, PGJD as Provincial Grand Master. This is a landmark event in the life of any Province, marking the beginning of a new chapter for East Lancashire Mark Masonry.

All Mark Master Masons are warmly invited to attend, whether you have been a member for many years or have only recently joined the Order. W.Bro. Davis particularly encourages our newer and junior Brethren to be part of this historic occasion. Opportunities to witness the Investiture of a Provincial Grand Master are few and far between, and the ceremony offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the dignity, tradition and friendship that lie at the very heart of Mark Masonry.

Meeting Details

Date: Thursday, 29th October 2026

Time: The meeting will commence at 10:30am. Please be seated no later than 10:15am.

To assist with planning, please confirm your attendance by selecting the "Book Here!" button. Whether you are sending your apologies, attending the Provincial Grand Lodge meeting only, or joining us afterwards for the Festive Board, we kindly ask that all Brethren book in advance.

Festive Board

A two-course Festive Board, including table wine, will follow the meeting.

Starter
Tomato & Basil Soup, served with croutons, a bread roll and butter.

Main Course (please select one)

• Breast of Chicken Chasseur
• Poached Salmon with Asparagus & Dill
• Vegetarian Wellington

All main courses are served with seasonal vegetables, new potatoes and roast potatoes.

Dietary requirements and alternative meals can be accommodated if advised at the time of booking.

It will be a day of ceremony, fellowship and pride in our wonderful Order, and we hope you will join us in giving W.Bro.
