Proximity Brewing Company's celebration of beer, food, art, and entertainment has returned for year SIX! You’re officially invited to join us for annual showcase of craft beer, culinary events and live entertainment - a community gathering like no other. Blacktoberfest™ is a culmination of partnerships between Black-owned + BIPOC establishments that bring Black culture to the craft beer community and its patrons in Durham, North Carolina. With the approaching second year anniversary of our brewery and tap room, we are slated for another spectacular year of festivities and want you to be a part of it.

Garland Court in Old East Durham is the official home of Blacktoberfest™ for its third year, making it our 6th year of this event. 20 breweries and collaborators combine for this year’s craft brew offerings, along with 6 Black-owned wine and spirits brands. Our 30+ vendor's, food trucks and entertainment stage will once again round out the 2025 fall festivities. TICKET FAQs

What is your ticket refund policy?

We do not offer refunds to the festival or any of our lead-up events unless we cancel an event prior to its date. If there is a cancellation on our behalf, your ticket purchase will be fully refunded. In any other instance, all ticket sales are final, and our festivals and events will take place, rain or shine.

What is your COVID-19 policy?

Blacktoberfest staff and venues will adhere to all state and local guidelines regarding COVID-19 and will continue to update our policy as necessary. By purchasing a ticket to our events, you understand and acknowledge that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. In attending our events, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and waive, release and discharge the host venue, Proximity Brewing Company LLC and all of their affiliates, employees, contractors, staff and associates from any and all liability for any illness or injury due to COVID-19 exposure.

Will there be a Designated Driver ticket?

Yes! Designated Driver tickets are available. Designated Driver ticket holders are not permitted to consume alcohol.

What is the age limit for your events?

State law requires that all attendees be 21 years or older to consume alcohol at an event.
