Why This Workshop Is Important
As the field of psychedelics continues to grow, it is vital for practitioners to be equipped with tools and understanding to support integration, preparation, and therapeutic use. While non-verbal approaches like art therapy have long been recognized as essential in processing non-ordinary states of consciousness, they remain underrepresented in psychedelic therapy.
Drawing on the teachings of leaders such as Stan Grof and Bessel van der Kolk, this workshop emphasizes the importance of non-verbal, trauma-informed tools to ethically and effectively support clients in their healing journey.

It just feels very hopeful to me to find a space that feels so open and beautiful and still contained and academic" - Heidi

"For me, Charmaine's art therapy was hands-down the most effective mental health modality that I have participated in during the last decade. The art process seemed to access my inner self in a different way than does the usual "talk" therapy. Also, her trauma-informed approach, focused on safety, inner-strength, healing, and connection to something-deeper-than-self, made this art therapy workshop both meaningful and effective, and it evoked beauty in the journey of becoming oneself". - Anonymous
