Psychedelic Week - Psychedelic AW

During Psychedelic Week we invite you to an After Work next to the venu of Borealis Psychedelic Science Summit 2025. 

Join us as a decompress of the first day or just a friendly and curious mingle before the film-screening of Stepping into the Unknown, with Dr Paul Liknaitzky. The film screening is hosted at the same venu and is a documentary and intimate film on Australia’s first psilocybin trial, followed by a talk with lead researcher Dr. Paul Liknaitzky. 

Tickets to the film is not included when signing up for the After Work. However you are of course welcome to join the After Work without joining the film screening. If you want to join both, get your film-tickets here.

Come as you are and engage in conversations about psychedelics role in health, culture and society, now and in the future.

About the film: Stepping into the Unknown, with Dr Paul Liknaitzky
This one-off doc, shot over two years, explores the potential for psychedelic assisted therapy as a treatment of mental health disorders, and follows the head of Australia’s first clinical psychedelic laboratory, Dr Paul Liknaitzky, who will also be present after the screening to talk about the film.

In a world first, Dr Liknaitzky and his team at Monash University trial the use of psilocybin (the active ingredient found in magic mushrooms) in psychedelic assisted therapy to treat Generalised Anxiety Disorder.

Stepping into the Unknown follows participants through treatment, including psychedelic dosing sessions, and intense and intimate therapy.
