LocalGovCamp24 is back!

This year sees the return of the 2-day event where the 1st day is a Makers Day where local government works on creating some project/issues during the day where outputs that can be shared with the rest of the local government community.

The 2nd day will be a LocalGovCamp day which will see a series of interactive workshops in the morning and then the traditional unconference sessions in the afternoon.

LocalGovDigital GenAI Makers Day - Weds 25th Sept

Our Makers Day will focus on how generative AI can enhance various aspects of content creation and communication by local government, from public announcements to visual media and interactive citizen engagement.

Participants will form teams to develop innovative prototypes that showcase how AI can help improve government services and community outreach.

LocalGovCamp24 Social Weds 25th Sept (Evening)

Since returning to in-person sessions post Covid, we have encouraged attendees to meet-up the night before LocalGovCamp and enjoy a few libations and a curry at different curry houses across the UK.

This year, we will return to Digbeth’s “Jewel in the Crown” aka Manzils, which played host to over 60 attendees 2 years ago. We hope attendees can join us 😊
