Storytelling with Janis Mackay

Description
It’s a Midsummer’s day and Rose is walking wearily home – she hearts beautiful singing and follows the joyful sound deep into the trees. As she listens, a flurry of fairies burst out of a tiny door in the side of a hill, and one of the fairies invites Rose to join their party. Today, they’ll be inviting other children to join them too.
Tune in to accompany author and storyteller Janice Mackay as she takes the audience on a journey with Rose, through her new book The Fairy Song, inspired by traditional Scottish stories of fairy folk. All Rose wanted was fun, friendship and flowers – now’s her chance for her, and your little ones, to enjoy just that.
Tickets are FREE.
All events in The Scottish Books Long Weekend will be recorded and will be uploaded to the Publishing Scotland YouTube channel with closed captions on Tuesday 15 June.
