The 8th Annual Pride in London Pup Walk and Pre/Post Parade Party!

2018 will be the 8th year that we've organised and insured pups to walk in the Pride in London Parade, and we hope to see you again this year!

There will also be a free goodie bag for everyone who walks with us!

Whether you're walking with us or another group, you can reserve your ticket for the Pre/Post Parade Party above!

Following your feedback from last year, this Pre/Post Parade Party is at Draft House Chancery (a short walk from the end of the Parade) and booked exclusively from morning until midnight.

With the venue for pups and pals only, this should be our best Pride Party to date!

The venue will have a safe space to get changed, free bag storage, a buffet brunch and a buffet dinner (so you can eat before and after the Parade), and plenty of room to relax or catch up with people at the end of the day.

Parade Details

The Parade will start at Great Portland Street and will finish at Whitehall. This is around 2.5 miles, Exact timings are to be announced nearer the time. We expect to be in position around 12, with the Parade starting at 1pm and finishing at 4pm. We will keep everyone notified of changes as soon as we can.

Walking in Pride in London is free for all attendees, although we have to pay for the walking group this year. If you would like to help us with these costs, you are welcome to donate.

This walking group is primarily for handlers, pups, ponies, cats, and other assorted pets and animals. If you're not into pet play, there are other fetish walking groups including CloneZone, BLUF and Recon.

Please don't reserve walking wristbands from multiple groups as you could prevent someone else from walking.

Timings

If you're not attending the after party you need to be at Cavendish Square Gardens before 11:00am, preferably at 10:30am to collect your wristbands. We will then all walk into the parade area before 11:15am to line up. We expect to start walking at about 12:30pm, finishing at 3:30pm.

After the parade we need everyone to keep together, and will be taking a group photo on the corner of Northumberland Avenue and Great Scotland Yard.

Goodie Bag

If you're walking with us in the Parade, you'll receive one of our goodie bags (filled with some help from some of our awesome friends). So far, each one will contain:

• 3 x 500ml Bottles of water

More will be announced closer to the date, hopefully including discounts for clubs and events for after the after party!

Party Details

Draft House Chancery opens at 9am, where we'll have a changing room and free bag storage to keep your belongings secure during the Parade. The bar will be open, and there will be a hot brunch buffet from 10am (see Food & Drink below).

After the Parade, snacks and drinks will be available when we get back to the venue, and a dinner buffet will be on offer from 6pm (see Food & Drink below)!

Walking with another group? You're still invited to use the changing area / bag storage, and join us for food before and after the Parade!

If you only have a Pup Party ticket, you're still welcome to use the changing room and bag storage in the morning!

The venue will be closed from 12pm until we get back from the Parade.

Party Areas

Pup Space

With over 250 square feet of padded flooring to run around on and play, there's plenty of room for pups to run around and play!

There will also be a HUGE ball pit, dog beds, blankets and loads of fun toys to play with!

Social Areas

There will be loads of seats, tables and dog beds for you to recover from the Parade, catch up with friends, or eat as much as you want.

Bar

The bar is separate from the play area so you can order your drinks without the risk of pups throwing balls from the pit at you.

Smoking Area

There is a massive outside smoking area if you enjoy a cigar with their food, or if you want to bark at passing tourists!

Changing Room and Bag Storage

There's an enclosed changing room so you can get changed at the venue in peace. This also means you can wear your regular clothes when you arrive and when you're ready to go leave. You can then check your bags into our free cloakroom to keep your belongings safe throughout the day.

Party Food & Drink

This year, we'll have not one but TWO buffets, so you can eat both before and after the Parade. Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the day. Please note the brunch is NOT included in the dinner ticket and must be bought separately.

Before the Parade, the brunch buffet will include:

• Sausages (gluten-free and dairy-free)
• Bacon (gluten-free, dairy-free)
• Scrambled egg (gluten-free/ some will be made dairy free and clearly labelled)
• Cooked tomatoes (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan)
• Mushrooms (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan)
• Hash browns (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan)
• Vegan sausages (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan)

After the Parade, the dinner buffet will consist of:

• Burgers, including Smoked cheddar cheeseburgers, chicken burgers, and veggie burgers (cheese optional, dairy-free without, vegan)
• Buffalo chicken wings (gluten-free, dairy-free)
• Chicken Goujons
• Onion rings (dairy-free, vegan)
• Vegan burgers (dairy-free, vegan)
• Buffalo cauli' wings (dairy-free, vegan)
• Fries/sweet potato fries (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan)
• House salad (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan)
• CAKES!!!!

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know so we can accommodate you. All food will be nut-free. Vegan, Halal, Dairy-Free and Gluten-Free options are available and will be clearly labelled. Some food items may change.

The venue sells a colossal collection of beers, ciders and ale (imported and brewed on site), as well as a range of cocktails, wines and soft drinks!

• Doors open: 9am
• Brunch buffet served: 9:30am
• Pups walking group leaving: 10:30am
• Pups walking group return: 4pm

• Doors close: Midnight

We must be in the parade line up before 11:30am, and will be taking a train from Holbon to Warren Street via Tottenham Court Road station. Please make sure to have your Oyster/Contactless payment card with you.

Pup Out London annual pass holders will get £5 off the on-the-door prices.

Refunds

Refunds can be made up until the 15 June. After this time no further refunds will be made.

BY BOOKING A TICKET YOU AGREE TO BE ADDED TO A MAILING LIST WITH IMPORTANT INFORMATION UP UNTIL THE PRIDE PARADE AND FOLLOWING WEEK.

Puppy Pride Store

There will be a stall from Puppy Pride accessable by the cloakroom which will have most of the exclusive items and t-shirts that they have. They'll all be there for you to look at and buy during the event, and there will even be a discount on everything!

Profits

All event and donation profits will be evenly split between the Puppy Pride Event Fund (supporting new pup events in the UK and overseas), and Pride in London for hosting us once again.
