Immersive Weekend Mixer and Surprises

The wagon is loaded with your hard earned gold in tow, but will you be able to bypass these treacherous towns on the route by staying in safe havens across the barren landscape? Heart of Cranes is a 15 minute snippet of a full length interactive theatre experience that invites the audience to participate in the traditional Japanese ritual of origami. Performed with an intimate audience of no more than three participants at a time, Heart of Cranes creates the opportunity to connect with community and allow a sense of reflection and active meditation through the centuries old cultural practice of origami.
“These are the hopes, the wishes, the things that we look forward to, for after all of this passes, the positivity that was shared from people and was folded in to the cranes will last. The positivity is the heart of the cranes: the energy made them come alive to carry it with them.”
Accessibility: At this time, this experience is accessible to audience participants with vision, hearing, and hand based motor skill abilities.
