Seth Nehil is a composer and sound designer. He has collaborated with choreographers, theater companies, installation artists and film directors. He produces documentary videography as Paradise Meow.

Some of my music has been described as “Nancarrow meets Zappa”, but that's probably not true anymore. A more recent anecdote described what I do as "John Zorn meets The Jetsons"—I was not upset by this development. Since then, it has been suggested that I sound like a “sort of Autechre meets Arvo Pärt." Obviously, I have no idea what I am doing.
Currently, I am being paid as a researcher. No, that’s not a joke.

workshop is a series for musicians and artists working in sound to present new and in-progress works and compositions. workshop supports experimentation, improvisation and composed sound and noise, maybe even "songs". it is an informal showing, a moment to work through new ideas, or old ideas in a new way.
curated by stephanie lavon trotter and presented by PWNW, the space supports acoustic and electronic works, as well as work that includes projection, lighting and movement.
