Sifting the World is a regular opportunity to reflect on what is happening in the wider world,

and ask if there is anything we we can do to improve things.

31st July,  21st August*,  25th September,  30th October,  27th November,  18th December*

2027:  29th January,  26th February

Held on the last Friday* of each month at noon (UK time), this free 30 minute drop-in session is open to anyone interested in how issues around them may be affecting themselves or others. We will often have a focus on how our individual and community wellbeing is impacted, and - where practical - will spend some time thinking about what we may personally be able to do.

There’s no set agenda, no pressure to perform — just an invitation to show up as you are. We may not be experts, and so will always hold each other to appropriate account, and it will not be a space to pollenate conspiracy theories or tolerate 'othering' of individuals or people groups.

Sifting the World offers a warm and open environment where honest conversation is welcomed, and quiet is respected.

Whether you want to share something you’re working through, explore a question that’s been sitting with you, or just listen in — this is a space that holds you gently.

Come with a cup of something warming, your thoughts, your questions, or simply your presence.

You are welcome here.

(* Where this falls on a Bank Holiday or for another reason is impractical, it will be shifted slightly)

  • When you book a space, feel free to let me know if there is anything specific you plan to bring to the session - but feel absolutely free to simply show up!
  • Spaces are limited - and must be booked at least 30 minutes ahead of commencement.
  • There is no charge to attend, although a contribution towards the work of Qawah Coaching is always welcome. (Any donations will help subsidise coaching and training for those who might otherwise struggle to access these).

Like this chance to stop and think - Deb

Sometimes I'm thinking 'stop the world, I want to get off' - so I appreciate at least a pause for 1/2 an hour - Jay
