Victorian Carols in Context
You are warmly invited to our annual Victorian Carols in Context.
This event features talks by Queen Mary scholars of Victorian culture, exploring the plants, animals and other ecological elements within nineteenth-century carols, details we often sing without thinking about their original nineteenth-century contexts.
Enjoy secular and sacred carols and verse with an ecological theme. Join us for singing, mulled wine, mince pies, and festive cheer.
All are welcome, but please do register in advance!
Doors open at 6.15pm on Friday 5th December
The Octagon at Queen Mary University of London, E1 4NS.
