2024 Queen Sofía Spanish Institute Translation Prize

The 2024 Queen Sofía Spanish Institute Translation Prize is a $10,000 prize honoring the best English translation of a work written originally in the Spanish language. Among the finalists are translated works written by renowned authors from across the Spanish-speaking world. 

The ceremony will take place at the New York University Espacio de Culturas (NYU KJCC), 53 Washington Square S, New York, NY 10012, on Thursday, November 21st at 7:00pm.

Join us for the announcement of the winner and for a conversation about the winning translation followed by a Q&A with special guests.

After the ceremony you are invited to join us for a Spanish cocktail hour.

Doors will open at 6:45pm. Please note that seating is limited and RSVPs are required for entry.
