In An Evening with George & John (Without Paul and Ringo), two of America’s most recognizable founders George Washington and John Hancock will speak to their roles in shaping the new United States. They will step into the spotlight for a lively, good‑humored program that plays on the famous Beatles lineup while honoring the spirit of 1776.

The night highlights Riley Youngren on harpsichord, who will bring the Pioneer Church to life with a sparkling mix of Mozart, colonial‑era favorites, and delightful Beatles melodies reimagined for harpsichord. It’s a musical bridge across centuries — from the Revolution to the British Invasion, wrapped in a playful nod to the Fab Four.

This event is part of the Quincy Valley Historical Society & Museum’s ongoing America 250 programming, celebrating the stories, creativity, and cultural threads that have shaped our nation for 250 years.
