PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR ATTENDEES OF THE IN PERSON L1 WEEKEND IN BRIGHTON IN MAY 2025.
What a rich and generative weekend! So, what now?
I noticed a theme (and perhaps a puzzle and a challenge) that comes up for many people during workshop weekends. It was about ‘How do I integrate all the deep, amazing work and play that happened here and bring it into my everyday life?’
Yes! How do we create intention and momentum around our experiences, and take our learnings and realisations into our futures? How can we optimise the chances of these ripples staying strong and making a real difference in our intimate relationships and the landscape of our intimate and erotic lives?
I wondered if we can all support each other in this, by meeting and creating a space for aftercare following the event, and intentional and supportive focus, with others with whom we shared the intense in-person experience?
A simple and practical way to do this is to hold an 'Aftercare' Zoom session a few days after the weekend with this exact intention. Soon after the event, to not lose the fresh and raw threads of the experience we just shared!
You can bring your journals, reflections, quandaries, questions and challenges, and it will be a place for empathic holding, and if you welcome the suggestions and feedback of others, peer learning and resourcing. Beck will facilitate the sharing and activities in the main group, and potentially smaller groups in breakout rooms (for example, based on themes and subjects people want to share). I can also supplement the group with any Level 1 content that did not make the cut for the weekend event, where it seems appropriate and relevant to the group’s needs.
The call will be emergent and responsive to what you all bring, not teaching or prescriptive content. We will create a confidential container and intentionally navigate any complexity around that (e.g partners or people who are not present).
First call
Beck and Alexander are going to hold the Save Our Work call on Thursday 22nd May 2025 at 6.30-8.30pm (UK time)
Cost
The cost will be £20 standard cost, £12.50 subsidised and £25 for supporters. If anyone really wants to be there but money is a barrier, I can offer a limited number of place for less (thanks to supporters and Patrons for enabling this).
