This is a Quintimate Parts Online workshop about Detachables!
Detachables and strap ons can play a key part in the sex lives of queer and trans folks, but their meaning and significance to our identities often goes far beyond ‘play’ with toys. This workshop is a chance to explore your experience of detachables and strap ons as a queer person with any body type or history, and as a wearer/owner of detachables or as someone who interacts with your partner’s detachables.
The deal with this;
Clothing optional and no genitals on screen without explicit group consent. It might be that there are show and tells including detachables and flesh genitals. Not actual sexual activity, but explicit discussion, and possibly a light demo of technique!
Important information
For all workshops, you are asked to behave according to group agreement/s which will be sent to you before the gathering.
Zoom screen on whenever possible for the feeling of connecting as we would in real life.
All workshops are listed as 3 hours 10-1pm. Some may be shorter and end at 12.30pm but none will go over 3 hours.
Please allow 3 hours in total for any workshop you book onto. You need a private space where other people in your space will not hear other members of the group. The conversations and activities are not suitable for people under 18.
Please ensure you are there at the beginning (10am). People arriving more than 15 minutes late cannot be admitted, because you will miss the initial introductions and group bonding, and it is disruptive to the group when new people come in. Sorry about this.
To ensure the best chance of connecting successfully, please set your device up/log into Zoom in plenty of time to log in for 10am. Having an ethernet cable plugged directly into your router makes a huge difference to signal.
There will be a short 5-10 min break in the middle of the workshop for loo breaks and getting a drink/stretching.
There will be a variety of different activities and some of them will be in smaller groups in breakout rooms, a writing exercise, a solo practice, or watching a video, etc. You will have the chance to rest your eyes and get away from the screen.
Each workshop has slightly different guidelines for nudity, pants off moments, any erotic practices, etc, and this will be made clear at the start. Please ask if you are unsure rather than assume.
Consent is key of course – everything is an invitation and you can choose to do something different, or to take a break, or leave the call if you need to (please let us/Beck know if you can).
Pairing people up to do practices and discussions in breakout rooms can be a time consuming and tricky process. Time and activities will be programmed in to do this negotiation and matching people up. However, I want to make it clear that there is no guarantee I can ensure a good fit with another attendee to be able to do the practice in the optimum way for you. Sometimes, as participants, we might need to downscale what we wanted to do or how we do it, witness someone else’s practice with their invitation, or work solo when we would have preferred to work with a partner. Being able to acknowledge feelings like disappointment, missing out, etc if welcome, and finding ways to process these experiences, and be flexible to get as much out of the workshop as we can is celebrated!
You are welcome if you are queer or trans or questioning, including if you are asexual/on ace spectrum and want to experience the workshops and their sexual content.
Quintimacy workshops are kink competent, welcoming and embracing of consensual kink/BDSM, and sex workers are welcome.
Costs
All workshops £30 each, per person.
There are limited spaces at a pay what you can afford rate, and if you contact me, I will release those tickets once I have enough fully priced tickets (and supporters) to make it possible for me to hold the workshop.
