OLD HOLLYWOOD - film NOIR - Using old lighting techniques. Half Day 12th July.

(I’ll start with a clause and it’s only for the film noir events. if you do book on this shoot then please do no not present any of the photographs in colour.  There are plenty of nice Black and white editing techniques and it will absolutely make these photo’s stand out) 

- FILM NOIR.

(Film noir is a lighting style inspired by old crime dramas and was popular in the 40s and 50s.   The work is very gritty, very contrasty and back then huge hot lights where used.  We will take these lighting techniques and use the latest constant lighting along with fresnel lighting  (say this with a silent ‘s’ lol frenel).

- THREE POINT LIGHTING.

- CAMERA OBSCURA.

- CHIAROSCURO

- BACKLIGHTING 

- WE WILL BE HAVING A PLAY ON SHADOWS.
