Rabble Weekend Away: Milton Abbey, Dorset

Back by popular demand, Rabble is returning to the stunning Dorset countryside - and this time, we’re staying longer.

• Three nights (Thursday - Sunday)

• New this year: more time in the pool, and a beach trip on the Sunday!

We've extended our trip to three nights (Thursday – Sunday) to ensure we make the most of this incredible location. Expect a long weekend packed with fun activities, games, great food, and even better company.

THE VENUE

Located in the heart of the Delcombe Valley, Milton Abbey is a historic independent school offering some fabulous facilities.

• 3 outdoor tennis courts, right in front of the Abbey (rackets and balls can be borrowed)🎾
• Sports hall - with equipment available for badminton, netball, basketball and five-a-side football 🏸

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Your ticket is all-inclusive, covering your stay from Thursday morning through Sunday afternoon. 

• Accommodation: Private single rooms as standard (no sharing required). Bedding, linen, and towels are provided. Want to share a room with someone? Let us know at checkout.

• Fully caterered: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served in the grand dining hall. Best of all? No washing up, wahooo! (NB. Sunday lunch is not included, but can be bought separately later. Weather permitting, we are planning on going to the beach on Sunday afternoon.)

• Unlimited sports: Full and exclusive access to the tennis courts, outdoor pitches, grounds, and sports hall. We have to have a lifeguard for the swimming pool, so this will be open for scheduled points in the weekend only.

• Curated activities: Last year we had a whole schedule of events you could choose from - like hikes, pub quizes, a ton of games, including night games with glow in the dark NERF guns, and marshamallow toasting! Expect similar levels of awesome this year.

• Just for Rabblers: We have exclusive use of this venue across 3 days.

COSTS

• Early bird tickets are £260 (ends 20th April)
• Standard tickets are £280

TIMINGS

• Thursday 23rd July - arrive anytime from 12pm (rooms available at 3pm)
• Sunday 26th July - leave by 4pm (vacate rooms by 10am)

GETTING THERE

Since enough of us want to travel up together, we've arranged a private coach to and from the venue. (This year's coach company comes highly recommended by the school, so we should have much less drama than last year!) Coach tickets are now on sale for £60 return. To make the most of our time at the venue, we're aiming to leave Paddington at 08:45am on the Thursday, and leave Milton Abbey at 4:30pm on the Sunday.
