Come and join in The King’s Coronation Celebrations at Amberley Parish Rooms.
This will be an outside event in the grounds of The Parish Rooms weather permitting. If it rains, it will be moved inside to The Parish Rooms.
Bring your own drink, there will be no bar. Vegetarians/ Vegans can be catered for, please book a 🌱 ticket in advance.
Bring your entire family, children and dogs very welcome.

This is a non profit event, all ticket sale proceeds will go towards the cost of the event. Please share with friends and family, we need to sell 130 tickets to cover the cost of the band, hog roast and ticketing admin fee. A huge thank you to the Parish Rooms for allowing us to use their venue free of charge.

The hog/ veggie baps will be served between 1.15pm - 3.15pm, food can be collected at any time during this window - there is no rush to eat. For larger appetites we do have the option of buying an extra hog/veggie bap in advance for £5 via link https://buytickets.at/rachelmorgan/865223 . These tickets are very limited and only valid alongside a £10 event ticket. Everyone is very welcome to bring additional food/ picnic, but you'll need to pack your own cutlery & crockery if required.
The event is "Bring your own" drink, there will be no bar on site - so please come prepared. Alternatively, the Amberley Inn c.150 metres away from The Parish Rooms have kindly agreed that beverages can be purchased from them and taken across the road to by enjoyed at the event. As long as the glasses are returned at the end of the day please. The Amberley Inn will be open all day until 11pm, serving food 6.30pm - 9pm - for anyone not wishing to go straight home at 5pm. The Black Horse will also be open until 8pm for drinks only.
There is no dress code, but fancy dress is welcomed! Bring your dancing shoes, the band will be playing two live sets between 1.30pm - 2.30pm & 3.30pm - 4.30pm. DJ music will be playing in the background 1pm - 1.30pm, 2.30pm - 3.30pm, 4.30pm - 5pm.
Niggles Magic Show will run between 2.30pm - 3.30pm inside The Parish Rooms, if it rains this will be moved to The Church upstairs. "A theatrical magic show with fun and laughter for everyone".
We have asked Amberley Shop on The Common, to show curious people like me around the premises between 2.30pm - 3.30pm - whilst the band are taking a break. COMING VERY SOON, a community shop and café in Amberley - opening in June 2023.
The School have kindly given access to their Green, children are very welcome to use this space to play should they wish to bring any toys to the event.
We have a very short window to set everything up after Church Service, so would kindly ask that the earliest arrival is 1pm please. Parking can be challenging in the Village, we would encourage parking at the War Memorial or by The Reservoir if travelling by car. Please get in touch if any special assistance is required around parking and we shall make sure we get you as close as we can to The Parish Rooms. There will be a road closure in place from 12 noon - 6pm, to keep everyone safe - starting opposite the school and ending a the far end of the Church boundary.
This is the first time the Parish Room's have accommodated a dog friendly event. We are all keen for the day to run smoothly, so we can continue to host events which include our four legged friends in the future. Usual housekeeping rules please, dog's to be kept on a short leash, no dogs on furniture, mess to be picked up and disposed of in the red bin opposite the Amberley Inn. We will provide water bowls, dog biscuits and spare poop bags (if required, please just ask).
The event finishes at 5pm - a polite request to either take your rubbish home or use bins provided please.
