Official Claire is one of her generation’s finest songwriters. The Chicago Reader praised her combination of “sensitivity and straight talk.” Former Wilco member LeRoy Bach says, “Official Claire is my favorite new songwriter. Her songs possess deep wit, and mischief, and all those swaying hooks!” Her live band includes Bach, as well as Brooks Palmer and drummer Quin Kirchner.

Claire is also a calm shredder of guitar! The Singleman Affair called her a “stunning bliss/drone sorceress.” On her most recent release, Midnight Dickbiter, Claire played and engineered the majority of instruments. The beautiful collection maintains a celebration amid darkness, and generosity amid the mundane.
