Carlton Kirby: The Voice of Cycling, live at lunchtime in Jersey

A special lunchtime event in Jersey with Carlton Kirby, the Voice of Cycling.

Our show with Carlton at Jersey Arts Centre on Monday 9 November sold out a while back - but here is a second chance, the following lunchtime, to catch the man known (to some) not just as the voice of cycling but also the voice of summer itself.

Carlton will be sharing extra stories that didn't make it into Monday evening's show, as he reflects on his life on the road with co-commentator Sean Kelly, covering the Golden Age of British Cycling at the Tour de France and successive Olympics.

Carlton will also be signing copies of his books, Magic Spanner and Sticky Bottle.

Carlton will be in conversation with former Procycling magazine writer Duncan Steer.

Tickets are just £10 and include a £5 donation towards Jersey's Island Games team. Riders selected to compete for Jersey in the road racing and mountain bike events need to fund their own trip to the Faroe Islands for the Games in July 2027 and we are aiming to make a small contribution to helping them.

Please note: this is a 30-minutes seated show, running from 1.10 to 1.40, followed by a book signing. Food and drink are NOT on sale at the venue - please feel free to bring your own!
