ABOUT ייִד־ליט־מיט YID-LIT-WITH…
YidLitWith... is a Yiddish Solidarity Salon series that brings together rad Yiddish writers, readers, singers, and performers lending their talents to raise and redistribute funds towards Indigenous, Black, and POC-led grassroots frontline movements. We celebrate our Yiddish cultural heritage and its long history of activism from the days when our socialist and radical ancestors led working-class struggles and showed up in solidarity with social justice movements.
Presented by: YiddishPod, Rad Yiddish, Yiddishistn Mit Palestine, the Indigenous Solidarity Working Group of UJPO-Toronto, and JVP Havurah Network. This event is organized by a collective who lives across Turtle Island on Coast Salish, Duwamish land/seattle, Pocomtuc land/western massachusetts, Tkaronto/toronto, Tio'tia:ke/montreal, and Munsee Lenape & Wappinger land.
STOP LINE 3
This salon, we are supporting the Indigenous-led movement to StopLine3! Even though deadly tar sands are already flowing through Endbridge’s Line 3, the movement to resist this pipeline still needs our solidarity! So often, funding and support stops after a movement seems to have reached its peak, but there is still important organizing happening. From funds to sustain winter camps and address legal fees (due to colonial governments criminalizing Indigenous people exercising sovereignty), every dollar counts so please give generously! Your donations will go directly to two Indigenous-led groups who have been central to the resistance against Line 3: One of these groups is Camp Migizi - an Indigenous two spirit led collective of mostly queer anarchists who stand for Indigenous rights and BIPOC solidarity!

- We keep ourselves muted when it’s not our time to speak.
