BILLY - a collaboration between Raivo Sloan & CRPNTR

Multiple dates and times The House Arts Collective C.I.C., G20 6HS

BILLY was developed through a handful of self-directed workshops, where we created a collection of soundtracked short stories that have now been tied together into one performance. It’s kind of our baby. We want to do more of this in future, but for now, we will be hosting two *limited capacity WIP sharings on the 29th and 30th of November.

CRPNTR (Owen Sutcliffe) is a writer, youth worker, an emcee. Raivo Sloan (Viktorija Buharova) is a music producer, composer and artist.

Thank you to Oliver Pitt who has designed a colouring booklet to accompany each story, which you will get a hold of if you come along. One of the drawings is used in this poster. : )

Good Press is printing these as we speak. Thank you Good Press.

Molly Whawell stepped in in the very first sketchy rehearsal of our pieces, told us what they thought and asked the right questions.
It really scratched our brains, thank you.

Massive thank you to The House Arts Collective for hosting us and kindly letting us use their space while we figured things out.

Thanks to Sound and Music, both of these sharings and the coloring booklets are free so do the thing and do it fast.

Thank you to Sound and Music’s “In Motion” programme, which has made this project possible. The programme is supported by Creative Scotland, Arts Council England, Jerwood Foundation, Garrick Club Charitable Trust, PRS Foundation, Michael Guest & Marchus Trust.

See you there.

More info/accessibility info on the event:

Worth noting that the majority of the stories will take place in very dimly lit surroundings

- You will be seated (let us know if this doesn't work for you, email raivosloan@gmail.com)

- The venue is on the ground floor. There's a purpose built ramp for wheelchair users. Accessible bathroom with wide doorway. Important to note this is a DIY space, so expect a bit of jank. The House try their best to acommodate all bodies.

- This performance will last approximately just over an hour with a short break. Once you're in, you're in.

- Performance will start at 5pm sharp, with a 10 min window for potential sneaky latecomers.

- *This event is very limited capacity to allow people enough space for the pieces and participants/audience.

- 5pm - 7pm timings were chosen so you can have time to go to your gig/dinner/club after

- Be respectful to the space and the people around you. : )
