Rajasthan Association United Kingdom (RAUK) family warmly invites you to "London Gangaur 2025" (गणगौर) on 29th March 2025. 

About Gangaur:

"The festival of Gangaur is all about honouring the Goddess Gauri or Parvati and celebrating marriage and love during the month of Chaitra (as per the Hindu or Lunar calendar). In this festival, both married and unmarried women take part in the festivities to celebrate womanhood. At an auspicious hour, a procession (sawari) of Gangaur commences from the main gates of the venue to the event hall, with the idols of Isar and Gaur in a palanquin, followed by traditional dance and Rajasthani food.

Event Highlights:

• Sawari of Isar and Gaur with a band (Outdoor)
• Dress Code: Traditional Rajasthani attire (we encourage traditional attire to celebrate rich culture)
• Gangaur Pooja*: Bring your own Pooja Thali with Samagri (Pooja guidance provided onsite)
• Free Parking onsite

1. Gangaur Pooja*:- Our volunteering team will help and guide for the Pooja, and will provide pages of Gauri-Isar pictures. Please bring your own Pooja Thali with Samagri.
2. Don’t miss to witness the wonderful festival of Rajasthan, traditional dances and delicious food.
