The Lost Children

Eve McDougall was incarcerated in Scotland’s toughest adult prison for 2yrs at the age of 15yrs old for trying to steal a roll of bread, Christmas 1972.

Later in life Eve wrote her biography, ‘

A Wicked Fist’.

The Lost Children is a monologue of her first night in jail a traumatic experience which no child should go through for such a petty crime. Eve is not a victim she is a survivor who supports vulnerable people.

Mata Hari

Co-Written by award-winning writer Dean Stalham and MA Graduate in Intercultural Cabaret from St Martins Aletia Upstairs. Mata Hari is an original play with songs and music interspersed with verbatim words taken from letters and interviews, with songs performed in English, French, Dutch and German. 1917 - Imprisoned, accused of espionage during WWI, her final hours, awaiting death by French firing squad, we see a roller coaster reflection of her life.

"This is one of those little Edinburgh Fringe gems… Upstairs is joyful, sulky, sexy and seductive as Mata Hari. Do go and see this if you can." ✭✭✭✭✭ ScotsGay

"A strong performance that includes attractive and evocative

singing." ✭✭✭✭ Theatre Guide London
